Gelar Pelatihan Jurnalistik, STAI Kuala Kapuas Undang Narasumber Jurnalis Senior Kapuas
KUALA KAPUAS – STAI selenggarakan pelatihan jurnalistik tingkat dasar yang diikuti oleh mahasiswa STAI sekitar 80 peserta bertempat di ruang Auditorium STAI Kuala Kapuas (Senin/04/09/2023)
Pelatihan ini mengusung tema “Menumbuhkan Kreativitas Mahasiswa dalam Dunia Jurnalistik Guna Menjawab Tantangan Global di Era Digital” yang mana setelah kegiatan pembukaan, pelatihan ini diisi materi langsung oleh Ketua Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia (PWI) Kapuas, Sri Hayati dengan judul materi “Sejarah, Kode Etik Jurnalistik dan Pedoman Media Massa”. Materi ini menjadi pembuka dan perkenalan yang tepat bagi mahasiswa yang terlihat antusias untuk lebih mengenal apa itu jurnalistik dan bagaimana sejarah terbentuknya jurnalistik itu sendiri.
Adapun materi kedua disampaikan langsung oleh Kepala Dinas Kominfo Kab.Kapuas, Gusti Mahfuz. Materi dengan judul “Citizen Journalism dan Pentingnya Bermedia Dengan Santun Dan Menghindari Hoax” turut menjadi hal yang penting untuk dibahas melihat betapa maraknya berita hoax yang beredar dan menjadi kewaspadaan bagi kita untuk tidak menelan secara langsung.
Berlanjut ke materi ketiga dengan judul “Penyuntingan Naskah dan Foto Jurnalistik” yang disampaikan oleh Dedy Purnadibrata selaku Pranta Humas Ahli Muda yang memaparkan ilmu mengenai bagaimana cara menyunting naskah maupun foto dan pentingnya kepenulisan yang benar dalam dunia jurnalistik.
Selanjutnya materi dengan judul “Teknik Dan Jenis Penulisan Berita Serta Skill Menulis Straight News” menjadi materi keempat dalam pelatihan ini yang dipaparkan langsung oleh Lapro G. Liadi dan Dolok Martimbang. Narasumber menyampaikan pengalamannya selama menjadi wartawan yang menjadi motivasi bagi mahasiswa untuk terus melangkah kedepan dan memahami suka duka selama menjadi wartawan itu sendiri. Tak lupa penjelasan tentang Stright News yang merupakan berita langsung atau berita hangat yang sedang terjadi di tengah masyarakat dimana berita tersebut dikabarkan secara singkat, lugas dan jelas.
Memasuki materi yang terakhir dengan judul “Mengenal Jurnalisme Online dan Manajemen Media” oleh Ahmad Suhaili. Ia menjabarkan secara langsung mengenai Jurnalisme Online yang berupa proses penyuntingan, penulisan, pelaporan berita secara online di internet ke publik. Ia juga menyampaikan bagaimana cara me-manajemen media yang mana ia sampaikan antara lain perencanaan, pengorganisasian, kepemimpinan, organisasi, pengaturan.
Dan terakhir, harapan Ahmad Suhaili kedepan untuk mahasiswa agar lebih bijak dalam bermedia sosial dan turut berpikir kritis sebelum percaya maupun melaporkan sebuah berita. Maka penting bagi mahasiswa untuk memahami bagaimana kode etik dan aturan yang tertuang dalam kepenulisan jurnalistik.
