KUALA KAPUAS – Pada hari Selasa dan Rabu tepatnya tanggal 19-20 September 2023, dilaksanakan lomba Mu’azin dan MC di Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam dalam rangka memeriahkan HUT STAI Kuala Kapuas yang ke-38 sekaligus peringatan Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW.
Pada acara lomba muazin pada hari Selasa, 19/9/2023 dilaksanakan di dalam auditorium STAI Kuala Kapuas. Acara yang dilaksankan cukup kondusif, para peserta yang mengikuti lomba berjumlah sekitar 12 orang.
Mahasiswa yang mengikuti lomba meberikan penampilan yang terbaik dan memiliki gaya dan suara dengan keunikannya masing-masing. Seusainya penampilan dari para peserta dewan juri memberikan pendapat dan masukan dan pendapatnya tentang tata cara dan adab dalam mengumandangkan adzan.
Dewan juri, bapak Ahmad Subhan berpendapat: ” Sebagaimana dalam kitab yang ditulis oleh Imam Al Ghazali dijelaskan dalam mengumandangkan adzan disunahkan meninggikan dan membaguskan suara, jangan menggunakan suara yang rendah”.
dan hikmah yang dapat diambil dari acara ini, yaitu pentingnya adab dalam mengumandangkan adzan dan pentingnya membaguskan dan meninggikan suara.
Kemudian keesokan harinya, pada Rabu, 20/9/2023 di gelarnya acara lomba MC di halaman STAI Kuala Kapuas dengan diikuti beberapa mahasiswa sekitar 16 peserta. Acara berjalan dengan lancar, peserta memberikan penampilan yang menarik dan memberikan ciri khasnya masing-masing. Penonton dan pendukung para peserta dari lokal masing-masing memeberikan semangat kepada para peserta.
Dilaksanakannya acara lomba-lomba ini selain untuk memperingati ulang tahun STAI Kuala Kapuas ke-38 serta Peringatan Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW, juga sebagai ajang bagi para mahasiswa-mahasiswi untuk mengasah bakat dan rasa percaya diri untuk tampil di depan umum.
