Mahasiswa Penerima Bea Siswa Kuliah (KIP) dan Pengurus Organisasi Kemahasiswaan Studi kaji ke Perpustakaan Daerah kab. Kapuas
KUALA KAPUAS – Studi Kaji Ke Perpustakaan Daerah dilaksanakan pada hari ini (31/07/24). Dihadiri oleh kurang lebih 30 mahasiswa STAI gabungan dari penerima beasiswa kuliah (KIP) dan pengurus organisasi kemahasiswaan.
Dalam acara pembukaan, Ketua STAI Kuala Kapuas yang diwakili oleh Wakil Ketua III, H, Bidin, S. Ag., M. Pd menyampaikan kata pengantar mengenai kegiatan studi kaji ini agar nantinya menjadi motivasi mahasiswa untuk terus meningkatkan literasi dan selalu berinovasi dalam kegiatan serupa di waktu lainnya.
Dalam sambutannya, Kepala Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Kapuas, Dr. H. Suwarno Muriyat, S. Ag., M. Pd turut menyampaikan mengenai pengembangan fasilitas di perpustakaan kapuas harapannya bisa menambah semangat literasi mahasiswa yang harusnya tidak jauh dari budaya membaca buku. “Disarpustaka juga terbuka untuk pelayanan perpustakaan keliling, yang menyediakan bermacam macam buku, baik itu cerita, novel dan masih banyak lagi kebutuhan lain sesuai apa yang direquest para pemustaka” tutur beliau.
Berlanjut ke pemaparan materi oleh Kepala Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Kapuas mengenai “Pengelolaan Perpustakaan Sekolah”, dalam hal ini beliau memaparkan tentang budaya literasi dan juga inovasi terbaru yang terus dikembangkan oleh Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Kapuas sendiri, seperti dapat mengakses berbagai macam buku digital melalui Pojok Baca Digital (POCADI) dengan komputer yang tersedia di Disarpustaka tersebut dan juga pengaksesan buku digital dimanapun dan kapanpun dengan menggunakan aplikasi IKapuas, yaitu aplikasi perpustakaan digital yang memungkinkan untuk diakses hanya dengan smartphone dan jaringan internet yang stabil. Selain itu beliau berpesan, “Dengan membaca buku, kita dapat banyak memperoleh ilmu baru, yang mana ilmu tersebut dapat kita gunakan untuk berkarya dan berinovasi dengan aksi nyata”
Usai pemaparan, Kepala Disarpustaka mengarahkan peserta untuk berkunjung dan belajar mengakses buku digital di POCADI.
