KUALA KAPUAS – Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam (STAI) Kuala Kapuas melaksanakan Pelepasan Mahasiswa Peserta Kuliah Kerja Lapangan (KKL) Angkatan ke-XXV Tahun Akademik 2022/2023 di Aula STAI Kuala Kapuas, Jl. Tambun Bungai No.56 Kuala Kapuas, pada Jum’at (06/01/2023).
Kegiatan tersebut dipimpin langsung Ketua STAI Kuala Kapuas yang juga Wakil Bupati Kapuas Drs. HM Nafiah Ibnor,MM dengan didampingi sejumlah Dosen STAI Kuala Kapuas.
Dalam sambutannya beliau mengucapkan selamat menjalankan tugas sebagai peserta KKL Angkatan Ke-XXV di masing-masing Desa yang telah ditetapkan. Beliau juga menjelaskan bahwa KKL merupakan mata kuliah wajib, sebagai implementasi dari Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi yang ke-3 yaitu pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Kuliah Kerja Lapangan (KKL) adalah suatu bentuk pendidikan dengan cara memberikan pengalaman belajar bagi mahasiswa untuk hidup di tengah-tengah masyarakat di luar kampus, dan secara langsung mengidentifikasi dan menangani masalah-masalah yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat.
Dalam kesempatan itu beliau juga menyampaikan bahwa jumlah Mahasiswa peserta KKL ada 176 Peserta yang bertugas pada 9 Kecamatan dan total desa yang dijadikan lokasi KKL adalah 33 Desa. Diharapkan agar mahasiswa KKL tersebut dapat membaur dengan masyarakat, menjadi contoh yang baik demi menjaga Almamater Kampus. Lebih lanjut beliau juga mengharapkan agar mahasiswa KKL ditengah masyarakat itu bias membimbing dengan kegiatan-kegiatan Keagamaan, Sosial, Budaya, Pengembangan Ekonomi, dan Juga bisa belajar lebih luas bagaimana memanajemen dan administrasi dipemerintahan desa. Juga bisa berperan aktif di Bidang Kesehatan melalui koordinasi dan kerjasama dengan POLINDES dan Puskesmas di lingkungan lokasi KKL tersebut.
